Auburn is limping into the NCAA tournament right now. They have lost four of their last nine games. This is no way to come into an NCAA tournament. I still think they are a legitimate contender and can make a run though.
Jacksonville State shouldn’t even be in this spot. They actually lost in the semifinals of the ASUN tournament but was granted a bid because Bellarmine won the tournament and they are in the second year of a four year transition to Division 1 as they were previously a Division 2 team. Therefore, they are not eligible for a March Madness bid.
I think the public is going to hop all over Auburn here. I think this is a bit of a trap and I am going to go the opposite of way. They gave you a pretty small number in 15.5 compared to the other top seeds. This auburn team is not playing well and I think this continues.
