Ok, let’s get to our Kentucky vs Arkansas prediction.
Streaking Arkansas has won three games in a row and 12 of its last 13 overall, but if the Hogs want to keep the current hot streak going they are going to have to take down a Kentucky team today that is 23-5, has won 17 of 19 games and is ranked Number 6 in the country.
This game will also have conference title repercussions as Kentucky is in second place in the SEC behind first-place Auburn, but just a game ahead of third-place Arkansas.
Kentucky is the best 3-point shooting team in the SEC and ranks 8th in the nation in scoring with 80.6 points per game. But the Cats will get a stiff test today in front of a crazy Hogs home crowd. Arkansas is playing some nasty defense right now as they lead the SEC in the fewest points allowed per game and have held their last 13 opponents to only 62.1 points per game, including allowing only 60.3 points per game on this floor.
Speaking of this home court, Arkansas is 45-6 straight up over the last three seasons at home and that includes a game earlier this season when as a home underdog they knocked off previously Number 1 ranked Auburn.
Simply put, at this price and on this floor there is no way we are going against the Hogs so for our Saturday College Best Bet, let’s take Arkansas minus the 1 over Kentucky.
