Jackson State and UTEP face off

UTEP did not have a good year last year. They went 5-7 on the season and 3-5 in conference play. Their problem seemed to be away from home as they were just 1-5 on the road. They are hoping to turn it around this year and compete in conference USA.

Jacksonville State is coming off of a bad offseason but it isn’t necessarily because of anything that they did. Deion Sanders left them for Colorado after three years and a 27-6 record. They will try to rebound this season with new head coach T.C. Taylor. 

I like the over in this game. The total opened up at just 51.5 but is now up to 54. This number is moving up for good reason. Last year UTEP ended their season with their last three games scoring 30, 40, and 31. This team can put up points. Jacksonville State is no slouch themselves scoring 40+ points in each of their last three games.
