Wyoming and Indiana are both making trips to the Big Dance after extended absences and the winner of tonight’s game will be the 12th seed in the East Region and move on to meet Number 5 seed St. Mary’s

Wyomoing went 25-8 this season playing out of the Mountain West Conference and is in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2015 when it won the Mountain West Tournament. 

Indiana, meanwhile, has five national championships to its name but hasn’t been selected to play in the Big Dance in six years. The Hoosiers went 20-13 but stumbled into the tournament with losses in seven of their last nine games, but those two wins came in the Big 10 Tournament, which helped them impress the committee enough to earn a spot in the Field of 68.

When we look closely at this match-up, the Cowboys possess a lot of the traits that align with success in the NCAA Tournament. They have a balanced scoring attack with three players averaging double figures and they also have strong guard play. 

While Indiana will have a size advantage down low, Wyoming will be able to offset their lack of size by taking care of the ball and getting out and running with their strong contingent of guards. 

Wyoming is 12-4 against the spread in its last 16 games as an underdog and for our NCAA Tournament First Four Best Bet we are going to ride that trend and take the underrated Cowboys plus the points.
