The team got a bit of a scare against Oklahoma on Tuesday night, but managed to prevail by the score of 84-74 as a 12-point home chalk.
As for the Horned Frogs, they got off to a great start to the season, winning 10 of their first 11 games, but they have been battling COVID issues of late. TCU hasn’t played a game since Dec. 21 and they had only five scholarship players available for practice during the break until most of the team returned Wednesday.
According to our sources, the Frogs went through a full practice Thursday and should have 10 scholarship players ready to go for Saturday’s game, but being rusty and coming off a sickness is no way to head into a game against the dynamic defending national champions.
The Bears are big, deep and athletic and won’t show any mercy for TCU when the ball goes in the air this afternoon. That said, while we don’t want to lay a big number with Baylor on the road, we don’t mind laying the number in the first half.
