Young and Hawks visit Lamelo and Hornets

The Hawks are coming off of a season where they were extremely average. They went 41-41 on the season and made the Play In tournament but then lost in the first round to the Celtics in six games. They are hoping that the continued development of Young, Murray, and Okongwu. 

The Hornets are hoping that getting Lamelo Ball back from injury can turn their team around. They were one of the worst teams in the NBA last season as they went 27-55 on the season. They were horrendous but they did miss Miles Bridges and Lamelo Ball for extended periods of time. 

I like the Hornets in this one. I think this is a bit of a trap line where the public is going to hammer the Hawks in this one. The Hornets are at home and have a good young core that I think can stay in this game. Lamelo Ball is back and he dazzled in preseason this year. I think this will be a close one that comes down to the last few possessions.
