Will Spurs or Pelicans prevail?
The Spurs will face the Pelicans in a game that will see one of these teams season end.
The Spurs have been playing well as of late. They are 8-5 since March 15th. This helped them close out the season and beat out the Lakers for that final Play-In spot. They have lost three straight games though. These were all relatively close games against the Timberwolves, Warriors, and Mavericks though.
The Pelicans also didn’t play too well over their last couple of games as they lost their last two to the Grizzlies and Warriors. They are 9-6 since March 13th though. It is kind of crazy that the Pelicans are in this position. They started the season off 1-12.
The Spurs actually beat the Pelicans three out of four times this season. They split the games in which C.J. McCollum played. I think McCollum and Brandon Ingram will be too much for the Spurs here. Ingram averaged 29 points throughout the month of March.
