The Trail Blazers are actually first in the Western Conference right now at 9-4 despite losing their last game to the Mavericks. They have played really well and are 11-2 ATS this season.

The Spurs have actually started off playing pretty well by their standards. They are 6-7 on the season and 8-5 ATS. Many predicted that this team would be competing for the first pick in the draft so this is encouraging.

I like the Blazers here. I just cannot go against a team that has covered at a 85 percent clip so far. They are playing great basketball behind their backcourt of Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons paired with SF Jerami Grant. The Spurs have played decent to start the season but I think they are brought back down to Earth here.
