Washington Takes Advantage

The Washington Wizards are coming into this game as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 34-43.  The Wizards continue to struggle, only winning 3 of their last 7 games played. The Wizards have a solid trio in Beal, Kuzma and Porzingis to build around for the future, but right now the supporting cast is not enough to be a contender in the East. 

The Knicks are back. New York is the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 45-33. All things were looking great in New York until All Star Power Forward Julius Randle landed on a foot and sprained his ankle. Knicks best player, Randle, is expected to miss a minimum of 2 weeks before returning to the court. 

With Julius Randle missing this game, The Wizards should take advantage. Big man Kristaps Porzingis is on a tear averaging 23.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and shooting 38.5% from beyond the arc. I really like the Wizards in this matchup.
