Game one of the Miami Heat versus Boston Celtics series truly was thrilling to watch, and started off with the Celtics looking fairy dominant. Despite being down Marcus Smart and Al Horford, behind Jayson Tatum’s 21 point half and a double digit lead at halftime, it seemed like the Celtics were going to coast in this one. But that all changed when playoff Jimmy showed that he came to play, and the Miami Heat dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Celtics 39 to 14 and never looking back from that point on.
Every Miami Heat player, besides three, had a positive plus minus effect on the game. Of those three, the one we want to focus on today and expect to have a bounce back game is starting shooting guard Max Strus. Despite being a -12 on the game, he did have some timely threes that helped put away the Celtics late push, but All in all, he only had 11 points. We say only because despite the fact that he is an undrafted player, that the Miami Heat revitalized and made a key part of their organization, he also was coming off two 20 point games in their previous playoff series and has averaged 16.1 points in 16 games as a starter this season.
