This is the matchup we have all been waiting for. The 76ers and the Nuggets matchup in Philly on Monday for a showdown between the top two MVP candidates. Embiid and Jokic both have been playing great this season. It seems like they are basically tied at the top of the MVP race right now.
The Nuggets are coming off of a loss to the Raptors in which Jokic had a bad game by his standards. He only scored 23 points. The Nuggets are still playing well as of late though having won seven of their last ten.
The 76ers are coming off of a back-to-back against the Magic and are 5-1 with Harden and Embiid in the lineup.
I think Jokic is the MVP and he will prove it in this game. I think Jokic outplays Embiid and basically secures the MVP trophy.
I think this bodes well for the Nuggets to win the game. Jokic and Embiid should go at it but ultimately Jokic and the Nuggets will come out on top.
