Throughout their last 20 games combined the Bucks and the Hornets are 7-13. They are both playing bad basketball right now and are trying to find their footing.
The Bucks just lost a game in which they were nine-point favorites at home against the Nets. The defending champs have now dropped to 36-25 and fifth in the East. They are behind the Heat, Bulls, Sixers, and Cavaliers and are at risk of not hosting a first-round matchup. They need to get back on track here.
The Hornets are doing even worse. They have lost eight of their last ten games. They did have an encouraging win on Saturday night though as they routed the Raptors.
I do not like the spread here as I don’t know what Bucks team I am getting on a nightly basis. I like the under in this game. I know this game is between two great offensive teams but this number is too high. Charlotte and Milwaulkee both rank within the top 5 in scoring but I think with the Hornets coming off of a back-to-back they may be tired.
