They have won three in a row and seven of their last ten games. Philly has actually been the third best team in the NBA ATS this season as they are 32-23-1. The Sixers have really been led by two guys this season in Joel Embiid and James Harden. Harden is averaging 21.5 points to go along with 10.8 assists and 6.2 rebounds. Embiid has been even better as he leads the league in scoring with 33.2 points per game. This is on top of 10.1 rebounds and four assists. These two are looking like they are going to be a huge threat in the playoffs.
The Cavaliers have been a bit over shadowed by the Bucks winning streak. If not everyone would be looking at them right now as they have won seven games in a row. This has catapulted them to 38-22 on the season. They are now just 4.5 games back of the one seed in the East and are gaining on the two and three seeds quickly. The Cavaliers are led by one of the best guard duos in the NBA in Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell and one of the best big man duos in Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. This team should be a big threat in the playoffs.
I really like the 76ers in this one. The 76ers are going to be at home and that is a huge thing for these teams. As the home team this year the 76ers are 19-10-1 ATS. The Cavaliers are not very good ATS as a road team despite being the fifth best team overall ATS. As the away team they are just 12-15-2 ATS. Home court advantage is obviously a big thing for this Cavs team as they are 13-16 on the road compared to 25-6 at home. The Cavs are the best defensive team in the league but the Sixers have the best offensive player in the league right now and are a top offensive team. I think the Cavaliers struggle on the road to win this game and even though it is a close game the 76ers just close the game out behind Embiid and Harden.
