Don’t look now, but the Brooklyn Nets are getting healthy and it looks like they are starting to play like the team that was supposed to contend for the NBA Title this season.
After battling an array of injuries to key players, Brooklyn suffered through a torrid 11-game losing streak but Kevin Durant is back and the Nets have now won two in a row. The offense was clicking during its recent 2-1 road trip when it scored at least 120 points in three straight games this season.
The Knicks, meanwhile, seem to be going in the opposite direction, winning just four of its past 16 games. Making matters worse for New York is the fact that it has blown nine double-digit leads during that same stretch.
These two teams have met twice this season and both games went over the total. In fact, the last five NY Knicks vs Nets games have gone over, but we think the oddsmaker has overrated here with this number.
