This is probably the game of the year so far in the NBA. The Bucks are the hottest team in the NBA and I have said for the entire season that I think they are the favorites to win the Finals. The Bucks have now won 10 straight games to get to 39-17 on the season. They are now just 1.5 games back of these Celtics. The Bucks have been led by 2 time MVP who is averaging 32.4 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 5.4 assists this season. He has been even better over his last ten games putting up more than 37 points per game. He is making a push for his third MVP. The reason the Bucks are surging is because they got Khris Middleton back. He had dealt with a knee injury that dated all the way back to last year’s playoffs. They haven’t lost since he came back. They are on fire right now and it’s due to Middleton, Giannis, and Jrue Holiday all being healthy. If this team can stay healthy I don’t see many people stopping them.
The Celtics have the best record in the NBA. They are the defending Eastern Conference champions and the top seed but the Bucks are gaining on them. The Celtics have won four games in a row but they did lose Jaylen Brown for a significant amount of time due to a facial fracture. They are still a top team but they do take a bit of a hit with Brown being out.
I like the under and the Bucks in this one. The Bucks have dominated lately and even though the Celtics have won four straight games, they are just a different team with Jaylen Brown out. The Bucks are completely healthy, have won 10 in a row, and are at home. Milwaukee is also the second best team in the NBA ATS as they are 31-22-3. I also like the under in this game. Milwaukee and Boston have both hit the under more often than overs this year. The under has hit in five of Milwaukee’s last six games. Boston has gone under on three of their last five games. With Jaylen Brown not in the mix the Celtics lose a 27 point per game scorer. This game should be a low scoring affair where Giannis and the Bucks pull away for a victory.
