Lowly Spurs visit Pels

The Pelicans are coming off of a much needed win. They had lost back to back games to the Jazz in Utah before beating the 76ers last night. This boosted them to 10-9 on the season and the eight seed in the West. They finally got CJ Mccolum back from a collapsed lung so that should be a big help for this team. 

The Spurs had a great offseason as they got the top prospect since Lebron James in Victor Wembanyama but it has not immediately translated to wins. They are now 3-14 on the season after starting the season 3-2. They hope to end their 12 game skid here. 

I am going to take the Pelicans here. They looked like a different team with Mccolum back in the lineup and it led to a win. This Spurs team isn’t just getting beat lately, they are getting crushed. They haven’t lost by less than six points to a team since November 12th against the Heat. This team is young and just is not ready to perform yet. Look for the Pelicans to annihilate them, especially at home.
