The Memphis Grizzlies are opening the playoffs at home. They have home court advantage as the 2nd seed in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies record in the 2023 regular season was 51-31. The Grizzlies are an extremely tough opponent to defeat at home with a record of 35-6. The Memphis Grizzlies are without Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke. 

The Los Angeles Lakers have been a roller coaster this season. Their only goal has been to make the playoffs and then cross that bridge when they get there. The Lakers are the 7th seed in the Western Conference with a record of 43-39. This Laker team, if healthy, is dangerous.

In our last video, we took the Lakers +3.5. We are going to pair this up with the over/under on the matchup. The over in this matchup is set at 227.
