New York will look to bounce back when they come back home to take on the Pacers.
Indiana Pacers Basketball
With a 34-47 record on the season and a 23-28 record in conference play, the Pacers are in twelfth place in the Eastern Conference standings and are eliminated from playoff contention. Indiana has struggled mightily with a 2-8 record in their last ten games. Part of the reason they have struggled lately and are eliminated from any sort of playoff contention is because they have been awful on the road with a 14-26 record. Look for them to turn things around these last couple of games and end the season on a high note
The Pacers have a bunch of talent on their team that have been balling out this year. Indiana has been led by Tyrese Haliburton this season when healthy as he is averaging 20.7 points and 10.4 assists a game this season. The only problem is that he has played 56 games for the Pacers this season. When Haliburton hasn’t been on the court it has been Myles Turner leading the Pacers leading the team in scoring and rebounds. Turner is averaging 18.0 points and 7.5 rebounds a game this season. Buddy Hield has helped Turner this season averaging 16.8 points a game. Rookie, Bennedict Mathurin is having a great season averaging 16.6 points a game.
In their loss against the Pistons at home, Hield led the way coming off the bench finishing with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Mathurin had a great game also finishing with 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Another rookie, Andrew Nembhard had a great finishing with 12 points and 10 assists. Indiana just could not generate enough offense to edge the Pistons. In the loss, the Pacers shot 49.4% from the floor and 35.5% from the three-point line.
New York Knicks Basketball
With a 47-34 record on the season and a 32-19 record in conference play, the Knicks are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks have been shaky as of late with a 6-4 record in their last ten games. The Knicks have clinched a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, part of the reason they have clinched a spot is because they have been great at home this year. New York is 23-17 at Madison Square Garden this year. Look for them to continue their great play at home against the Pacers.
The Knicks have been led by Julius Randle, who leads the team in points and rebounds. Randle is averaging 25.1 points and 10.0 rebounds a game this season. Jalen Brunson has been helping out Randle this season averaging 24.0 points and 6.2 assists a game this season. RJ Barrett has also stepped up this season playing his best basketball averaging 19.6 points a game.
In their loss against the Pelicans on the road,Barrett led the Knicks with Randle and Brunson resting for the playoffs. He finished with 28 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists. Barrett also shot 0-9 from the three-point line. Immanuel Quickley was right behind him finishing with 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. The problem was that no one really helped Barrett and Quickley in the offensively. In the loss, the Knick shot 43.2% from the floor and 32.6% from the three-point line.

Pacers vs. Knicks Prediction
With most of the starters not playing because it is the last game of the season for both teams I love Andrew Nembhard’s over on his assist total. In the last five games Nembhard has been dishing out buckets to his teammates. In his last five games he has had 6+ assists in all of them. In two of those games he has had double-digit assists, including one game where he had 15 assists. With more playing time he has more opportunities to find his teammates. Lock in the over for his assist total and watch your bet hit!
Pacers vs. Knicks Prop Pick: Andrew Nembhard over assists.
