The new look Nets are going to be hosting the Sixers here. The Nets just blew up their entire team and reset. They are no longer a top team in the NBA in terms of Finals odds. They were one of the favorites and are now one out of the top 10. This team is now led by Spencer Dinwiddie, Cam Thomas, and Mikal Bridges. They did get a great return in trading Kyrie to the Mavericks and Kevin Durant to the Suns as they got a ton of first round picks and Mikal Bridges. We don’t really know how this team is going to respond but they did beat the Bulls in the first game after the trade. The good thing about this team is that the Nets are already 33-22 on the season and they are probably going to make the playoffs if they can just tread water until the end of the season.
The 76ers are got back to their winning ways last game as they beat the Knicks 119-108. They had lost two in a row before righting the ship. They are 35-19 on the season and are the three seed in the East. They are a top five team in the NBA right now as they are led by the superstar duo of James Harden and Joel Embiid. They are 7-3 in their last ten games but have lost two of their last three. This team has title aspirations but didn’t do much at the deadline.
I like the 76ers in this one. I know they are going to be on the road here but they are playing a Nets team that isn’t that good. The Nets are coming off of a win but they beat the Bulls. The 76ers are worlds better than the Bulls. They should dominate. Embiid and Harden are a top five duo in the NBA and their pick and rolls should dominate the Nets in this one. I think the 76ers have a big game here and destroy this new look Nets team. Final Score Prediction: 76ers 115-103
