Magic and Nets clash

The Magic are having a decent season so far currently sitting 6th in the eastern conference with a 5-4 record. This will be their first game apart of the in season tournament.  This team is led by second year star Paolo Banchero who is looking better and better every night. He leads the team in points, rebounds and assist. Scoring wise this team is pretty balanced with 10 players averaging double digits but no 20 point per game scorers.

The Nets have had a pretty similar start the season but sit 9th in the eastern conference with a 5-5 record. They are 1-1 in the in season tournament so far. The team is led by Cam Thomas who has looked sensational averaging 27 points per game. He isn’t doing it himself with 5 other players in double digits and Mikal Bridges averaging over 20. The Nets look to grab a winning record in this tournament with a win.

Take the Magic in this one. These teams are pretty evenly matched when their healthy but Cam Thomas injury changes this game. Losing a 27 ppg scorer is really gonna hurt the squad and I expect them to struggle until he returns from injury.  So for our Magic v Nets expert pick take the Magic +2.
