Kings vs. Warriors

Kings vs. Warriors

The will Sacramento Kings travel to the Chase Center to face the Golden State Warriors in game 4 of their first round series in the Western Conference Playoffs (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC). The Kings after winning the first two games at home struggled on the road at the Chase Center. They will look for a bounce back on the road in this one. Meanwhile, Golden State got a game back from the Kings at home defeating them 114-97. They will look tie the series at 2 games a piece in this one.

Sacramento Kings Basketball

The Kings were doubted in this series by the media and the sportsbooks. In the first two games they silenced everyone taking a 2-0 lead in the series, but in game three it got ugly on the road for the Kings. It would be huge for Sacramento to pickup a win in this game and go up 3-1 with the series going back home. With the Warriors struggles on the road the Kings desperately need to steal a game on the road. Look to see if they can do that in this game.

The Sacramento Kings have been led by De’Aaron Fox, who leads the team in points this postseason. Fox is averaging 29.3 points and 7.7 assists a game in the playoffs. Domantas Sabonis has also helped Fox this series averaging 17.0 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Fox’s teammate at Kentucky, Malik Monk has been balling too averaging 18.0 points a game this series

In their loss against the Warriors in game 3, Fox led the way with 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists. Sabonis had a double-double scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Part of the reason why they lost was their bench. Off the bench Malik Monk struggled only scoring 4 points, shooting 1-9 from the floor and 0-4 from the three-point line. In total the Kings bench only scored 20 points in the game. Sacramento needs better production from their bench in game 4 if they want a chance. In the loss, the Kings shot 38.0% from the floor and 23.4% from the three-point line.

Golden State Warriors Basketball

With a 48-38 record on the season and a 28-22 record in conference play, the Warriors are in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. Golden State has been good as of late with a 6-4 record in their last ten games. The Warriors need a win in this game as they are trying to clinch a spot in the Western Conference playoffs. However, bad news for the Warriors is that they had been horrendous on the road this season as they are 9-30 as the away team this season.

The Warriors have had a lot of players step up for them this season. This series Curry is averaging 31.3 points and 3.7 assists. Klay Thompson has helped Curry in the backcourt as he is averaging 18.3 points a game in the playoffs. Jordan Poole has helped the Warriors offensively averaging 12.3 points a game this series. Andrew Wiggins has been fanatstic for the Warriors averaging 19.7 points a game this postseason.

In their win against Kings in game 3, Curry went off as usual in the playoffs finishing with 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. He shot 12-25 from the floor and 6-12 from the three-point line. Wiggins finished second in scoring for the Warriors finishing with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Poole and Thompson both struggled shooting inthe game, but combined for 29 points. Golden State also dominated this game without Draymond Green. Look to see how game 4 goes when the Warriors get one of their better defenders back from suspension. In the win, the Warriors shot 40.0% from the floor and 32.0% from the three-point line.

Kings vs. Warriors Prediction

I love this prop in this game. With Draymond Green coming back I think Domantis Sabonis struggles offensively. Also, I think the Kings struggles continue on the road in this series. I think the Warriors dominate this game at home with an early start. Between Green and Kevon Looney guarding Sabonis, I think he stays under 19 points in this game.

Kings vs. Warriors Pick: Domantas Sabonis under 18.5 points (-104)
