This Friday night matchup is between two Eastern Conference rivals. This game is the first match back for both teams since the all star break.  The Cleveland Cavaliers are the hottest team in the entire NBA winning 20 of their last 25 matches. The Philadelphia 76ers look to stay afloat as Joel Embiid gets healthy with their new roster after acquiring Kyle Lowry from the buyout market. Both of these teams are in the top five seeds in the Eastern Conference. We will provide you with the proper information needed for this Cavaliers vs 76ers match.

The 76ers are extremely injured at this point in the season. The Philadelphia 76ers will be without star Joel Embiid who is expected to be out until at least April 2nd. The 76ers are led by Tyrese Maxey who is averaging 25.7 points, 6.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. Philadelphia will need to rely on its depth to stay afloat until Joel Embiid is back.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Philadelphia 76ers: Game Prediction

The Cleveland Cavaliers are arguably playing the best basketball right now outside of the Boston Celtics. The Cavaliers have an incredible all around roster outside of their two stars with big men like Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. The offense for the Cavaliers might be too much for other teams to handle as they rank top 10 in FG%, 3PM, 3PA, and AST.

The Philadelphia 76ers were having a solid season before Joel Embiid got hurt. Sadly, it is the same tale every single season. Their best player simply cannot stay healthy and it continuously hurts the team. The 76ers have a star in Tyrese Maxey with solid players around him such as Tobias Harris. Kyle Lowry wanted to join a contender and chose his home team, the 76ers. In regards to the 76ers current situation, Kyle Lowry is not a needle mover. The 76ers are stuck in a bad injury situation and will need elite level play from their top tier players to stay as contenders while Embiid sits.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win this game. I believe that the Cavaliers will stay just as hot as before the all star break. The Cavaliers have won 9 of their last 10 matches, while the 76ers have only won 3 of their last 10. The 76ers are in a slump without their biggest star. With Philadelphia missing the defending MVP, this game is going to go Cleveland’s way. The 76ers are just too injured, missing key players like Robert Convington as well. Cleveland is a team that not only is on fire, but they are healthy. The Cavs are solid on the road going 17-8 before the break.
