The Hawks will go head-to-head against the Bulls | OSB

It’s Wednesday, April 17th and this is our free NBA prediction for the Hawks vs. Bulls Play-In matchup. 

The game is in Chicago and tips-off at 9:30 PM Eastern.

So let’s break this one down…

The Hawks will go head-to-head against the Bulls in a win-or-go-home matchup. The winner will move on to compete for the 8th seed in the East, but the loser will be eliminated. 

Odds have Chicago as a home favorite against Atlanta, but this season the Bulls went 11-11 as home favorites, and lost 101-113 the last time they hosted the Hawks. 

Atlanta struggled at the end of the season, posting 6 straight losses while averaging a -16.3 point differential, but with their starting lineup finally healthy, the Hawks are a great sleeper pick. 

Atlanta’s defense is ranked 27th, but that won’t hurt the Hawks against Chicago, as the Bulls middling offense is no threat. 

With the season on the line the Hawks vs. Bulls game is going to be close, but a back-and-forth matchup favors the Hawks high-powered offense, so my NBA play-in prediction has Atlanta advancing.
