This is one of the best games so far this season in my opinion. The Clippers will be taking on the Suns in this one in Phoenix. This is a matchup between the team many picked to win the Finals before the season in the Clippers, and the team that is now the favorite on all sportsbooks in the Suns. The Suns just traded for Kevin Durant and are playing great basketball right now. Devin Booker has led this team and is averaging 26.8 points on the season. Phoenix has really hung their hat on their defense this season as their offense has struggled with Booker and Chris Paul going in and out of the lineup with injuries. 

The Clippers did not make any huge moves during the deadline and now have even more competition in the West as the Mavericks added Kyrie Irving and the Suns added Kevin Durant. They are still a top team in the West though behind Kawhi Leonard and Paul George who both average more than 23 points on the season. The Clippers are 32-28 on the season and have passed up the Mavericks in the West. They are now the five seed after winning six of their last ten games. They are still nine games back of first in the West though. 

In our other article we told you how we like the under to smash in the game between these two particular teams. I also like the Clippers to win this game. I know the Suns have been playing really well but the Clippers haven’t been too bad themselves as they have won six of their last ten. It looks like both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are going to be playing in this game and that is enough to put the Clippers over the top here. Kevin Durant is still not ready to be in the lineup and I think the Clippers will prevail with him out.

They are just so good defensively and can completely shut down this Phoenix offense. The Clippers have also covered in eight of their last 12 games. I think they take care of business here in a defensive battle in Phoenix.
