Bulls vs. Pacers
The Chicago Bulls will travel to the Gainbrdige Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers in an Eastern Conference matchup (7:00 p.m. ET). The Bulls will look to snap their four-game losing streak in this one. On Monday night, Chicago lost to the Orlando Magic 100-91. The Bulls have now lost four of their last five games. Meanwhile, the Pacers will look to snap their five-game losing streak. On Monday night Indiana lost to the Utah Jazz 123-117. They have lost nine of their last ten games.
With an 26-31 record on the season and an 20-18 record in conference play, the Bulls sit in 11th place in the Eastern Conference. Chicago has struggled on the road this season as they are 10-19 as the away team. The Bulls are one game back from being in playoff contention.
The Bulls have been led by their two guards this season Demar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. DeRozan leads Chicago in points and assists on the season. He is averaging 25.4 points and 5.1 assists a game this season. LaVine is averaging 23.9 a game this season. Their big man Nikola Vucevic is also having a great season averaging 17.8 points and 11.5 rebounds (Which leads the team) a game this season.
In the loss against the Magic, LaVine led the team in points finishing with 26. DeRozan was right behind him finishing with 19 points. Vucevic also had a great night posting a double-double scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Chicago could not stop the Magic’s offense, especially rookie Paolo Banchero. The Bulls struggled shooting from deep as they shot 40.7% from the field and 14.3% from the three-point line.
With a 25-34 record on the season and a 17-17 record in conference play, the Pacers are in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers this season have been shaky at home as they are 17-14 in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse this season. Look to see if they can fix their struggles at home this season when the Bulls come to visit.
Indiana has gotten contribution from a lot of their players this year as four players on their team are averaging double-digit points a game this season. Their main scorer this season has been Tyrese Haliburton who leads the team in points and rebounds. Haliburton is averaging 20.0 points and 10.1 assists. Also, Myles Turner has been a key piece for the Pacers averaging 17.6 points and 7.9 rebounds (Which leads the team) a game this season.
In their loss against the Jazz, Haliburton had a monster game finishing with a double-double scoring 30 points and having 12 assists. Rookie Bennedict Mathurin followed right behind in scoring finishing with 19 points. Indiana shot 50.5% from the floor and 32.4% from the three-point line.

Prediction
I like the Bulls in this spot. I think they are the better and more experienced team. Chicago has the guard play to keep up with Indiana’s guard play. They also have the size in the paint to slow down and contain Myles Turner. I think both Demar DeRozan and Zach LaVine have great games against the Pacers. Chicago wins in a close game on the road.
Prediction: The Chicago Bulls cover the spread (+2.5).
