It’s Saturday, April 20th and this is our free NBA prediction for Game 1 of the Magic vs. Cavaliers series. 

The game is in Cleveland and tips-off at 1:00 PM Eastern.

So let’s break this one down…

The 5-seed Magic will take on the 4-seed Cavaliers in the First Round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. 

The Cavs are favored to both win Game 1 and the series, and Cleveland enters Saturday’s matchup as 4 and half point favorites, priced at -190. 

Orlando hasn’t made it past the First Round since 2010, and while the Magic are much better compared to last year, they still have a long way to go before they’re considered title contenders. 

As the higher seed Cleveland gets home court advantage, putting the Magic on the road where they often struggle, posting an 18-23 record (43.9%) in away games. 

So for our Magic vs. Cavs expert pick, take the Cleveland Cavaliers to Cover (-4.5) in Game 1 on Saturday.
