The Lakers and the Jazz are both reeling right now and while the Jazz tries to get back into form for the playoffs the Lakers are just trying to have a chance at them.
The Jazz is coming off of a historic meltdown against the Clippers. In Paul George’s first game back the Clippers overcame a 25 point deficit to beat the Jazz 121-115. The Clippers outscored the Jazz 39-21 in the fourth quarter. They are now two games behind the Dallas Mavericks and it seems they won’t be hosting a first-round series.
The Lakers are playing just as bad if not worse than the Jazz. They are 4-13 since the All-Star break and have lost three in a row. Lebron and Anthony Davis are both doubtful for this game and it doesn’t seem like they’ll play.
