Strength In Numbers? 

The Golden State Warriors have accomplished something incredible this season which is the humongous difference in record at home and away games. The Warriors are arguably the best team in the league at home with a 30-7 record. Confusingly, it could not be more of the opposite for the road games. On the road the Warriors are 9-29. Coming into this game on a 3 game win streak and playing at home, the Warriors should be confident in this matchup.  

The Timberwolves are coming into this matchup as the 7th seed in the Western Conference. They are 1.5 games behind Golden State and this win would be huge to try and take the 6th seed from them and avoid the play in tournament. Losing this game will be hurt them badly as the Lakers are lurking and also 1.5 games behind the Warriors for the 6th seed. The Timberwolves have split their last 10 games 5-5. This will be KAT’s second game back from injury and his minutes are limited. 

This game will have a huge affect on the outcome of seedings. The Warriors and Timberwolves are currently the 6th and 7th seeds in the Western Conference with other teams right behind them who are on a roll. Golden State is starting to look healthier and are excellent at the defending the house. Coming into this game with a 30-7 record at home and Karl-Anthony-Towns still being on limited minutes, the Warriors are my lock for this matchup.
