The Knicks are 8-2 in their last ten games but they have lost two straight. Not only have they lost two straight but they lost their second leading scorer in Jalen Brunson to an ankle injury. They are still at 38-29 on the season and fifth in the East. 

The Lakers are on fire right now. They have won three in a row and four of their last five. This has boosted them to 33-34 on the season and they are now the nine seed in the West and only 1.5 games back of fifth place. They are doing this with Lebron James still sidelined. 

I love the Lakers in this one. Not only are they on fire but the Knicks have lost back to back games and they will be on the second night of a back to back as they play the Clippers before. They are also missing Brunson. I think the red hot Lakers are going to beat the Knicks and win their fifth straight game here.
