Spurs Season Already in Shambles

The San Antonio Spurs will take on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are favored by 13.5 points, as the Spurs are one of the worst teams in the NBA. At 4-21, wins have been rare in San Antonio. The Spurs went on an 18-game losing streak from November 5th to December 13th, knocking them all the way down to the bottom of the standings in the West. The Bucks on the other hand are a title contending team with a pair of veteran All-Stars who are learning how to complement each other’s skills. 

In a one-sided matchup, I’m going with the heavily favored Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are combining for 57.2 points, 12.1 assists, and 15.5 rebounds per game for Milwaukee, and against San Antonio’s lackluster defense, the All-Star pair will feast. The Spurs are giving up over 120 points per game, and they have little to no chance of stopping Giannis and Dame. The Bucks average 124.4 points, and this one could get ugly. The Spurs need a few more years to develop, but the Bucks are ready to keep on rolling.
