We’ve been pretty damn hot in this first round. On Friday night, I was a little off on the Celtics game under but we hit the clippers and the Mavericks team total under by half a point in the late night game!
Staying in the western conference, we have an afternoon matchup between the Phoenix suns and the Los Angeles lakers in second game in LA.
The Lakers were atrocious in game 1, but took the second game in Phoenix with cp3 leaving the court injured. Even though he returned to the floor in game 3, the Lakers went into overdrive in the second half, out scoring the suns 66-55. They won by a total of 14 and look to go up 3-1 on Sunday and put the pressure on the suns.
The Lakers uncharacteristically shot 87% from the free throw line compared to the suns’ 78%. They had 6 more turnovers than Phoenix and still won by double digits. This Lakers team has finally woken up. They’re playing like the number 1 seed they should have been.
Game 3 saw the suns struggling on the glass, getting out rebounded by the Lakers’ bigs 51 to 35. This is not going to change in game 4. The suns’ center and former first round draft pick Ayton played 41 minutes and it still wasn’t enough. It was one of his best games shooting 11-15 from the floor with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks, but this Lakers team is massive,

The suns aren’t going to win this game. It might be a close one but they are outmanned. Trends all point to the Lakers winning this and going up 3-1 in the series.
