Pelicans host Mavs despite missing key players

The Pelicans began the season with an impressive win as they killed the Nets in Brooklyn 130-108. They then beat the Hornets by 12 before losing a close one point game to the Jazz. The problem is they lost Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram to injury.

The Mavericks should easily be 2-0 right now but they sit at 1-1. They blew a huge lead in the season opener to the Suns and lost on a game winning shot 107-105 from Damion Lee of all people. They now host a shorthanded Pels team.
I like the Mavericks to cover here. They are led by one of the MVP favorites in Luka Doncic and should be one of the better teams in the West this season. Dallas is also 2-0 ATS this season. THe Pelicans are going to have a tough time adjusting to playing without their two stars.
