Pelicans and Blazers try to stop skids

The Pelicans are coming off of a win over the Mavericks but they are just 3-7 in their last ten games. They are now 32-34 on the season and have been passed up by the Lakers in the standings. They are now the 10 seed in the West. 

The Blazers have also faded as of late. They are also 3-7 in their last ten games and they have now lost two in a row. They are 31-36 on the season and it looks like their playoff chances are fading. They are the 13th seed in the East. 

I like the Pelicans in this one. I think as we get close to the season talent becomes increasingly important the Blazers just don’t have enough of it. The Blazers have Damian Lillard and that’s pretty much it. The Pels have Ingram and Mccolum who are both capable of putting up big numbers. I think the Pelicans take care of the Blazers here and put the nail in the coffin on their playoff chances.
