Pacers and Wiz look to start season off right

The Pacers are coming off of an encouraging season where their young core really looked like it started to develop. They were the 11 seed and missed the Play In game by five games but they may have been in there if their star young point guard Tyrese Haliburton didn’t get injured. 

The Wizards are coming off of an explosive offseason where they moved into a full rebuild as they traded away Bradley Beal to the Suns. They also traded for Jordan Poole from the Warriors and are hoping that he is a centerpiece of their rebuild. 

I like the Pacers in this one. The Pacers are at home in this one and are starting the season off against one of the teams with the lowest preseason win totals in the NBA this season. The Pacers have a good young team and should be able to beat this Wizards team who are young but are not very good. Look for the Pacers to pull away in the second half here.
