This is one of the best games so far this season in my opinion. The Clippers will be taking on the Suns in this one in Phoenix. This is a matchup between the team many picked to win the Finals before the season in the Clippers, and the team that is now the favorite on all sportsbooks in the Suns. The Suns just traded for Kevin Durant and are playing great basketball right now. Devin Booker has led this team and is averaging 26.8 points on the season. Phoenix has really hung their hat on their defense this season as their offense has struggled with Booker and Chris Paul going in and out of the lineup with injuries. 

The Clippers did not make any huge moves during the deadline and now have even more competition in the West as the Mavericks added Kyrie Irving and the Suns added Kevin Durant. They are still a top team in the West though behind Kawhi Leonard and Paul George who both average more than 23 points on the season. The Clippers are 32-28 on the season and have passed up the Mavericks in the West. They are now the five seed after winning six of their last ten games. They are still nine games back of first in the West though. 

I absolutely love the under in this game. These are two of the most defensive minded teams in the NBA. The Clippers and the Suns are actually tied for fourth in the NBA in points allowed per game at 111.2. The only teams ahead of the are the Cavaliers, Heat, and Sixers. The Clippers and the Suns also just don’t score many points. The Clippers rank 27th in the NBA in points per game and the Suns rank 22nd. To add on top of this the Clippers are the fifth slowest team in the NBA while the Suns are the ninth slowest. 

Lastly, the Clippers are the second best team in the NBA at hitting the under as their under record is 34-26. The Suns aren’t too bad themselves as they are 31-27-1 hitting the under which is good for ninth in the NBA. These two teams are going to get into a slugfest in this one and you may see them struggling to get to the 100 point mark.
