Nuggets Will Extend Road Game Win Streak

The Denver Nuggets will take on their bitter Western Conference rivals the Golden State Warriors tomorrow night in a bid to extend their road game winning streak. The Nuggets are 24-11 overall, putting them 3rd in the West, but most of that success is due to their uncanny ability to win at home. The Nuggets are 14-3 in Denver, and just 10-8 on the road. However, due to a rare streak of good form away from home, the Nuggets have won 5 straight road games. The Warriors on the other hand have fallen to 11th place in the West after going 6-7 in December.

I’m going with the Denver Nuggets in this one. The Warriors snapped a 3-game losing streak on Tuesday with a big win over the Orlando Magic, but Golden State is 0-2 against the Nuggets this season, and are still without their best defender, Draymond Green. Steph Curry, who’s averaging 27.6 points per game, has done his best to carry the Warriors, but he’s the only player averaging 20+ points. Golden State’s defense has suffered as well, allowing 118.6 points per game in their last 10 matchups. Conversely, the Nuggets defense has been outstanding in recent games, allowing just 107.0 points per game in their last 10. It won’t be a walk in the park, but Denver will extend their road game win streak tomorrow night against the Warriors.
