Nuggets look to avoid late season meltdown as they visit the Raptors

The Nuggets have now lost three straight games to move to 46-22 on the season. Two of the three losses have come against teams under 500. This team still owns a five game lead in the West but they should have probably picked a better time to slump with the playoffs right around the corner. 

The Raptors are 32-36 on the season. They have picked it up here in the second half a little bit but they are still the nine seed in the East. They are two games back of the Hawks and unless they get hot here they will win to win two Play In games to get into the playoffs. 

I like the Raptors in this one. I know the Nuggets have been a top three team in the NBA all season but they are just not themselves at the moment. They have lost three in a row and there seems to be some tension as Micheal Porter Jr., their third leading scorer, called out the head coach for not getting enough playing time. The Nuggets are just coasting to the end of the season here as they have the one seed all but locked up while the Raptors desperately need wins. Plus Denver will be making the long trip to Toronto.
