Nuggets host desperate Pelicans

The Nuggets have owned the one seed in the West the entire season and it looks like they are going to hold onto it going into the playoffs. They are still three games up on the Grizzlies with six games to go. They are 51-24 on the season and they have won four games in a row.
The Pelicans are currently 38-38 on the season. They are still in the thick of the logjam in the West and have the eight seed right now. They are coming off of a tough loss to the Warriors where they blew a big halftime lead and lost 120-109. 

I like the Pelicans to cover in this one. I don’t think they are going to win this game but I do think this is a close game. The Pelicans were playing great basketball before that Warriors loss and they are desperate for wins while the Nuggets are pretty much good and just coasting towards the playoffs here. Look for the Pelicans to make this a game and have a shot late.
