The hawks are up 2-1 after a dominating home performance 105-94. The score doesnt seem like the game was lopsided but it was. the hawks took the lead at the beginning of the second quarter and never looked back.
It was a complete team effort. The hawks shot 60 % from three and 52% overall field goal percentage: the knicks are the top defensive team in the nba but they couldn’t keep stop the lights out shooting by the home team back in front of their pumped up fans. This was after a completely disrespectful episode at Madison square garden in game 2, where trae young was spit on by a fan sitting court side!! Someone paid thousands of dollars for that ticket to spit on a player and get Banned for life! This is after a couple incidents regarding rowdy fans this week.
Ice trae and company shut all the New York fans up after Friday’s game and now will try to go back 2 back and send it to New York for a crucial game 5.
This is really the only close series in the first round of the eastern conference playoffs. We see the current Knicks vs hawks odds with the hawks favored at yoke by 4.5 points and The total is currently at 209.
The last two games have stayed well under after the first meeting went just slightly over the Vegas total.
The hawks still put up 105 on this thibodeaux coached defense and they barely had their foot on the gas in the fourth. The fourth quarter saw only 41 combined points which caused the game total to stay under. The spread for that game was Atlanta favored by 4.5 points and now we see the spread come down slightly which is surprising considering the hawks’ game 3 performance. The public is split on this game but there is actually a little more money on the knicks who are a much more popular team. Maybe this is why it’s not higher.

Now for what you’ve all been waiting for.. my New York knicks vs Atlanta hawks prediction! I think the knicks will come to play today after sleepwalking through game 3. The Atlanta hawks likely won’t shoot at the same clip they did on Friday but they’ll be able to score on this d. The hawks almost doubled the assist total of the knicks which says a lot about the efficiency of the hawks.
I’m expecting The hawks to win this game but I don’t think it’ll come easily. I don’t like the spread much but I lean knicks +4.5 and hawks money line.
