I think this pick is pretty straightforward. The Nets just lost KD for about a month right after they got Kyrie Irving back. Injuries have been tough on the Nets and this big three has yet to have a significant amount of time together where they can gel and gain some chemistry together. The Wizards have returned to their normal mediocrity after starting off the season so hot. They are 23-21 and are 8th in the East. Despite all their injuries and problems, the Nets are still 3rd in the East and half a game back of first. Washington is 17th in the NBA in points per game while Brooklyn ranks 6th. The interesting thing is that the Wizards have averaged only 108 points per game throughout the season but as of recently have been enjoying a scoring boom. Over their last four games, the Wizards have averaged just over 115 points per game. I think both these teams will put up points. Just three games ago the Nets exploded for 138 points against Chicago’s 7th ranked defense. I am going to rely on the stardom of Kyrie irving, James Harden, and Bradley Beal to put up some points here.
