Nets look to get back on track against Pistons
The Nets are coming off of a brutal loss to the Hornets that spoiled Kyrie’s home debut. This loss actually moved the Nets from the eighth seed to the ninth seed. This is very important because the ninth seed has to win two games to make the playoffs while the eighth seed only has to win one.
The Pistons’ season is over at this point. they are 20-55 and 14th in the Eastern Conference. At this point, it’s about utilizing and growing their young player’s talents.
I think Kyrie Irving is due for a big game. He kind of flopped in his home debut only putting up 16 points, 11 assists, and two rebounds. In the game before that, he put up 11 points, six assists, and four rebounds. I think Irving bounces back against a bad Pistons team here. Especially being at home here I think he is due for a big game. Irving has been playing great all season and I expect him to get back to that level.
