Nets look to get back on track against Pistons
The Nets are coming off of a brutal loss to the Hornets that spoiled Kyrie’s home debut. This loss actually moved the Nets from the eighth seed to the ninth seed. This is very important because the ninth seed has to win two games to make the playoffs while the eighth seed only has to win one. The Nets have the same record as the Hornets and these last seven games will be huge.
The Pistons’ season is over at this point. they are 20-55 and 14th in the Eastern Conference. At this point, it’s about utilizing and growing their young player’s talents. These last seven games are just about developing their rookies and young players. They don’t have much offensive fire power and won’t score much in this game.
Kyrie’s first homecoming was already spoiled by the Hornets and I don’t think the Nets will allow the lowly Pistons to do it again. Expect a blowout in this one where the Pistons don’t put up a lot of points.
