Nets and Hornets clash

The Nets haven’t had a great start to the season and are currently sitting at 0-2. They’ve lost two close ones to the Cavaliers by one and the Mavericks by five. The Nets have looked solid but can’t seem to close out in close situations. Cam Thomas has looked amazing so far averaging 33 points a game. They are still a balanced squad with 6 players averaging in the double digits. This should be their opportunity to grab their first win.

The Hornets have looked decent so far sitting at 1-1 on the year. With their win coming over the Hawks and losing in a blowout to the Pistons. This Hornets team is very young but led by veteran Terry Rozier averaging 22 a game. Young stars Lamelo, P.J. Washington and Brandom Miller have all looked solid so far. They are only averaging 107 a game and need some more offensive production.

Take the Nets in this one. This offense has looked very explosive and I am surprised they still haven’t gotten their first win. The Hornets are struggling offensively and I think the Nets take advantage of that and grab their first win of the year. So for our Nets v Hornets expert pick take the Nets -2.
