NBA season kicks off in Boston

The NBA season is finally here and it will kick off with the Sixers visiting the defending Eastern Conference champions. Boston is coming off of a season where they lost in the Finals to the Warriors in six games. Jayson Tatum did not play up to his ability and may have cost them a ring.

The 76ers have title aspirations this season. MVP runner up Joel Embiid is hoping that a healthy James Harden gives them the firepower to win the championship. They went 51-31 last season and finished fourth in the Eastern Conference. 

I like the Celtics to cover. I think we are getting a lot of value here at 2.5. This team won the Eastern Conference last year and is only favored by 2.5 points. The last time these two teams played the Celtics dismantled the Sixers in Philadelphia 135-87. Plus, Boston was sixth in the NBA last year ATS. Philly ranked 20th ATS last year.
