It’s Tuesday, April 23rd and this is our free NBA prediction for Game 2 of the Suns vs. Timberwolves series. 

The game is in Minnesota and tips-off at 7:30 PM Eastern.

So let’s break this one down…

Minnesota crushed the Suns in Game 1 with a decisive 25-point victory (120-95), and now enter Game 2 as the favorites, priced at -155. 

The Timberwolves showed us why they have the top-rated defense in the NBA, holding a loaded Suns offense under 100 points for just the 6th time all season. 

Phoenix was led by Kevin Durant, who managed to score 31 on Minnesota’s suffocating defense, but KD was the only threat as no one else on the Suns eclipsed 20 points. 

Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 33 points, and Rudy Gobert nearly out rebounded the entire Suns roster with 16 boards. 

Minnesota out rebounded Phoenix 52 to 28, securing 13 offensive rebounds, 17 second-chance possessions, and 20 second-chance points. 

The Timberwolves sent a message in Game 1, and if Minnesota continues to dominate the glass the Suns are looking down the barrel of a sweep.
