In game 5 of the series the Heat defeated the Bucks 128-126 in an overtime thriller. Miami might have the best player in the playoffs right now as Jimmy Butler is playing out of his mind. Meanwhile, just like Heat the Knicks made quick work of their first round opponent in the Cleveland Cavaliers. New York eliminated Cleveland in five games. In game 5, the Knicks defeated the Cavaliers 106-95 to send them packing. Jalen Brunson has been balling this postseason and is looking like he wants to put his name in the superstar status.

Miami is looking to continue their postseason success in this series. They have been playing great basketball and have eliminated one of the best teams in the NBA in the first round. Mostly because Jimmy Butler has been playing out of his mind. They have a tough opponent in front of them as the Knicks are a frisky team with good talent. Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle have been great all season. Plus R.J. Barrett has emerged this postseason and has been playing great basketball. This will not be a walk in the park for the Heat. They are just focused on stealing one or more games at Madison Square Garden.
The Heat have been led by Jimmy Butler, who leads the team in points. Butler is averaging 37.6 points and 4.8 assists a game in the playoffs. Big man Bam Adebayo has been helping Butler this postseason averaging 17.4 points and 8.6 rebounds a game this season. Gabe Vincent has stepped for Miami in this series averaging 13.0 points and 5.0 assists a game.
In their win against the Bucks in game 5, Butler went off with 42 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Adebayo did his thing finishing with a triple-double scoring 20 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and finding 10 of his teammates for assists. Vincent emerged finishing with 22 points and 6 assists. In the win, the Heat shot 45.5% from the floor and 37.8% from the three-point line.
New York Knicks Basketball
The Knicks are red-hot right now and just eliminated a great team in Cleveland. Now they are in the Semifinals and one step closer to a chance at an NBA championship. They have a tough opponent in this series though. Jimmy Butler for the Heat has been insane in his last couple of games. Miami also has all the moment after eliminating the Bucks who were heavy favorites to win the championship. Plus, the Heat have the playoff experience. Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle will need to come up huge in this series if the Knicks want a chance.
The Knicks have been led by Jalen Brunson, who leads the team in points and assists. Brunson is averaging 24.0 points and 4.8 assists a game this postseason. Big man Julius Randle has helped Brunson in the playoffs averaging 14.4 points and 6.4 rebounds a game this postseason. RJ Barrett has also stepped up this postseason playing his best basketball averaging 17.4 points a game.
In their win against the Cavaliers in game 5, Brunson had a monster game finishing with 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Barrett stepped up in this game finishing with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Randle again struggled, shooting 4-9 from the field and 0-3 from the three-point line. He still managed to finish with 13 points. Luckily, Immanuel Quickley off the bench stepped up and finished with 19 points. In the win, the Knick shot 43.5% from the floor and 31.0% from the three-point line.

I love this prop so much for game 1. The Heat are at an all time high right now after defeating the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs. I think this is the perfect come back down to earth game for the Heat. I think they come out slow and don’t play as good with a new opponent in front of them. I think Jimmy Butler still has a fantastic game int his one. I just dont see him putting up 31+ after his hot performance in the last series. I think he comes back to life and the Knicks hold him down.
