It’s time for another free nba playoff breakdown. I’m Tommy d from online sports bet.com and wow this first round has been a real snooze fest! Tons of blowouts in the eastern conference! Atleast the west has been a little more competitive. The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles lakers series WAS competitive before Anthony Davis left with a groin injury midway through game4. It was alll over after that. The lakers had no offense literally going on a 4 minute scoring drought afterwards. Not only the lakers best player, he’s been a matchup nightmare for Deandre Ayton of the suns. Ayton to dominated the paint with Davis off the court in game 4. Drummond and gasol had no answer for him. Gasol did play well that game but it was too late. On Tuesday in game 5 back in Phoenix, the lakers were pathetic. The first half was decent. They led by a point after the first quarter and only trailed by 4 at halftime. The second half was a disgusting performance. It’s not even lebrons fault…he got absolutely zero help from the rest of the Lakers’ starters. Schroeder didn’t have a single point! It was so ugly, lebron walked off the court and into the locker room leaving his team behind halfway through the 4th quarter. Now we come back to the staples center for game 6…lakers down 3-2 in the series… the fact of the matter is, the lakers cannot win without AD. I don’t know how serious his injury actually is, because he wasn’t declared out of game 5 until there was only 5 hours before rip off.

I would expect him to play, no matter how hampered he may be by the groin injury. He’s a competitor, and although he’s injury prone, there’s no doubt he wants to be out there to help his team go back to back.

I don’t know that the lakers will have enough manpower without Anthony Davis. I’m going under the assumption he will play. I’ll still take my chances and say the lake show win game 6 at home in a nail biting fashion and send it back to Phoenix for game 7.
