Lakers start homestand hosting Wolves

This may determine the Lakers season. The Wolves will be the first of five games in Los Angeles. The Lakers are 30-33 on the season. They are the eleven seed in the West but only three games separate the fifth seed and the 12th seed. The Lakers are still without Lebron James and De’Angelo Russell.

The Timberwolves are 32-32 on the season and are in the same pack as the Lakers in the West. They are just 4-6 in their last ten games but are coming off of a big win over the Clippers. They will be getting Karl Anthony Towns back soon.

I actually like the Lakers in this one. I think they know how big of a game this is and I think Anthony Davis delivers in this one. Davis will be well rested as he sat out last game for precautionary reasons. The Lakers are a new team and they can win without Lebron. I think they take care of business here. They have won four of their last five games and are finding their groove.
