The Lakers season is over. It was one of the biggest disappointments in basketball in a long time. The team has five future Hall of Famers on it And still managed to miss the playoffs. They didn’t even miss the playoffs they missed the Play-In tournament. I know they dealt with a lot of injuries all year but it was really shameful to see the Lakers get beat out by the Pelicans and the Spurs for the last two Play-In spots.
The Thunder are coming off of a blowout loss to the Utah Jazz. At this point, they’re just trying to lose out as the top three worst records get an equal chance at the number one pick and the Thunder are third right now and only one game worse than the Pacers.
I actually think LeBron James might play in this one as he needs to play the last two games in order to have a shot at the scoring title. With the Thunder just trying to lose out and coming off of a huge blowout I think the Lakers will win this one pretty easily.
