Lakers and Mavericks clash in big game

The Lakers are 34-36 on the season. They are coming off of a bad loss to the league worst Rockets. They did not have Anthony Davis playing in the game though. They are still the 10 seed in the West and are only two games back of the Warriors for the sixth seed. 

The Mavericks are 35-35 on the season. They are the eight seed in the West and the Mavericks have not played very well after the Kyrie Irving trade. They are 4-6 in their last ten games but are coming off of a win over the Spurs. 

I like the Mavericks in this one. The truth of the matter is that Lebron James is still out for the Lakers. I know they have a better team than before behind Anthony Davis but the Mavericks have more talent. Irving and Doncic are not going to miss the playoffs and this will be a big step in the right direction. I think they take care of this Lakers team relatively easily.
